    “While out walking with my aunts, we happened to stumble upon Pasticceria Dolci Ore, and what a wonderful discovery it was. My non-Italian-speaking aunts ordered pastries and hot drinks for a sit-down breakfast, and everything was absolutely delightful. The premises were exceptionally clean, well organised, and clearly very popular with locals, which is always a great sign. After breakfast, I asked the very helpful lady behind the counter whether I could buy two packs of four mini jars of jam of my own choosing. To my delight, she said yes — and not only that, she packaged them beautifully, which was perfect as I intend to give them as gifts to my elderly neighbours. She then patiently helped my aunts, who were confused and confusing in equal measure, all the while apologising for her English (which was actually very good!). For the record, I understood the language my aunts were speaking — just not what they were asking. Finally, she kindly advised me on choosing a panettone as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend’s parents, as we celebrate our first Christmas together. All of this took place while the bakery remained busy with a steady flow of customers coming and going. Immaculately clean premises, excellent pastries, and truly exceptional service. I very much hope to visit again in the future. Mentre passeggiavo con le mie zie, siamo entrate per caso nella *Pasticceria Dolci Ore* — ed è stata una scoperta meravigliosa. Le mie zie, che non parlano italiano, hanno ordinato pasticcini e bevande calde per una colazione servita al tavolo, ed è stato tutto delizioso. Il locale era impeccabilmente pulito, ben organizzato e chiaramente molto frequentato dalla gente del posto, il che è sempre un ottimo segno. Dopo colazione, ho chiesto alla gentilissima signora dietro il bancone se fosse possibile acquistare due confezioni da quattro mini vasetti di marmellata a mia scelta. Con mia grande gioia ha accettato e, inoltre, li ha confezionati in modo splendido — perfetti come regali per i miei vicini anziani. Successivamente ha aiutato le mie zie, confuse e confusionarie in egual misura, scusandosi continuamente per il suo inglese (che in realtà era ottimo!). Per la cronaca, capivo la lingua che parlavano le mie zie — ma non quello che stavano chiedendo. Infine, mi ha consigliato con grande cortesia nella scelta di un panettone come regalo di Natale per i genitori del mio compagno, dato che festeggeremo insieme il nostro primo Natale. Il tutto mentre il locale era pieno di clienti che entravano e uscivano senza sosta. Locale pulitissimo, pasticceria eccellente e un servizio davvero eccezionale. Spero di tornarci presto.”
